Duck Fat!
I converted this Food Truck a few weeks ago so they don't have to scream at the customers to be heard over the noise of the generator. They were able to do a double event last week and it lasted!
I made this rack to hold the batteries under the counter inside.
That little open cupboard bottom left is where i lived for half a day.
You can see the rack i built in the back before i had to disassemble it and rebuild it under the counter.
Me realizing how nicely this was going to fit while simultaneously remembering how warm confined spaces are in Hawaii, even in the winter XD
The server rack style battery was perfect dimensions for the corner under the counter and there is even space for a fourth on top if they want to expand. I countersunk everything and the batteries slid right in snugly. The local distributor didn't have the inverter we wanted so the conduit and wiring is left incomplete temporarily until the other one comes in.
This inverter although only a temporary unit, seems to work flawlessly. It's running various refrigeration units and even the AC, charging and bypassing when plugged in and switching automatically to battery when unplugged, and most importantly, negligible maintenance since the refrigeration must remain on 24/7.. Behold!, Transformer-less Inverters and LiFePO4 have arrived... and i think they might be dating.
I,ll post some updates later. Plans are to put 4 365w panels on top and the new inverter ASAP.
